Print[Ferro-Alloys.com] Chung Hung Steel, the major upstream raw material supplier for the Taiwanese steel pipe producers announced to cut its October list prices by NT$300~NT$700/ton averagely.
It’s learned that Chung Hung Steel decided to cut the list prices for hot rolled steel, cold rolled steel and galvanized steel by NT$500/ton, NT$300/ton and NTUSD700/ton respectively.
Accordingly, it’s forecasted that the Taiwanese steel pipe markers will follow Chung Hung Steel to adjust the October prices.
Meanwhile, it’s expected that the steel pipe demand would be better in October.
