[Ferro-Alloys.com] Indonesia maintained its forecast for 2012 coal production at 332 million tonnes and said exports would be 250 million tonnes
A senior mining ministry official said that “Coal production forecasts for 2013 would stand at 337 million tonnes with exports at 252 million tonnes while in 2014 production would be 342 million tonnes with exports at 254 million tonnes.”
Mr Edi Prasodjo coal business development director in the ministry of energy and minerals said “This is based on the companies work programming budgets.”
The Indonesian Coal Association earlier this month revised its 2012 production forecast down to 340 million tonne to 350 million tonnes from 360 million tonnes earlier.
