[Ferro-Alloys.com] Reportedly, South Korean steelmaker Posco has completed its USD165 million car steel processing project in China, which will help it strengthen the presence in the regional steel market.

The processing plant is located in Northeastern China’s Jilin province, and was started construction in August, 2011.

The plant owns an annual steel processing capacity of 200,000 tons.

Earlier in July 2011, the steelmaker commissioned a 0.4 MTPA steel plates plant in Liaoning Province, mainly supplying materials to the regional shipbuilders.
