[Ferro-Alloys.com]According to statistics released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), the US produced 1.746 million short tons of crude steel in the week ended on November 10th, up by 2.3% from a week earlier while decreasing by 3.5% in comparison of 1.809 million short tons in the same period of a year earlier.
In the given period of time, the capacity utilization rate of the US steelmaking facilities was at 70.7%, higher than 69.1% in a week ago.
