[Ferro-Alloys.com]It’s reported that the Japanese steel mills planned to raise the export prices of galvanized (GI) sheets to Asian buyers for next January, driven by peak season for the products.

The Japanese steelmakers expected that the galvanized sheet prices would bottom out in this December. The contract prices of galvanized sheet to Asian buyers have stood firmly at around USD720~USD730/ton CFR recently.

Besides, it’s learned that the Chinese steelmakers also hike the export prices of galvanized sheets by USD20~USD30/ton for December.
