Iran's oil exports of crude and condensate currently amount to 1.209 million b/d, oil minister Bijan Zanganeh told the Iranian parliament planning and budget committee this week, the semi-official Fars news agency reported, quoting MP Hosseinali Haji-Deligani.
The minister also told the committee that Iran, which has been hit by crippling international sanctions that have slashed its oil exports and income, had pocketed $23 billion from the trade in a six-month period, the report said.
Haji-Deligani said Zanganeh had given an update on the country's energy situation in a meeting with the committee on Wednesday.
"In this report, Mr Zanganeh gave an update about the country's incomes from the oil ministry," Haji-Deligani was quoted as saying.
