Turkey’s Imports of Flat Alloy Steel Slump in August

According to data released by Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the country’s imports of flat alloy steel totaled 49,474 tons in August, falling by 34% year on year.
 
In August, the country’s imports flat alloy steel wider than 600mm totaled 74,830 tons, slumping by 40.6% year on year.
 
Meanwhile, France was the largest supplier with 15,079 tons; Russia was the second largest one with 5,367 tons and Sweden was the third largest one with 3,825 tons.
