[Ferro-Alloys.com] Japan’s exported 102,180 tons of stainless steel in December, 2013, rising by 6.7% from a month ago, according to data released by Japan’s Ministry of Finance.
Meanwhile, the export prices averaged at USD3,989/ton, increasing by 13.7% from November. The country’s export revenues generated by stainless steel totaled US$475.77 million in last December.
In the given month, China was the largest importer of the Japanese stainless steel with 21,279 tons, increasing by 12%; Korea was the second largest one with 17,134 tons, falling by 12.1% and Chinese Taiwan was the third largest one with 14,658 tins, decreasing by 13.4%, all compared to November.
