[Ferro-Alloys.com] Recently, the Taiwanese steel mills have turned to purchase scraps from Japan as the US scrap prices have continued rising.

It’s learned that the quote of the US container HMS 80:20 (1&2) to Taiwan increased by USD7~USD10/ton from a week ago to USD355/ton C&F last week, making the Taiwanese steel mills turn to buy materials from Japan.

Last week, the transaction prices of the Japanese H2 scraps to Taiwan have increased to USD348~USD350/ton C&F.
