At the end of last week, Japan Aluminium Alloy Refiners Association announced the result of demand & supply for silicon metal and the production result of secondary aluminium alloy products in August 2017.

Russia's customs statistics shows the export result of standard ferro-silicon (Si >55%) in July 2017 was 22,631 tons, down by 19.8% from 28,207 tons in the prior month.
