China’s FeCr export volume was 710 mt in April, up by 107% M-O-M and up by 256% Y-O-Y. There is no improvement on FeCr market this year, the export volume continued low as last year.

[Ferro-Alloys.com] China’s chrome ore import volume was 850,786 mt in April, slightly down by 2% M-O-M (1,015,000mt) and down by 16% Y-O-Y. The total import volume from Jan. to Apr. 2015 was 3,130,763 mt, down by 13% Y-O-Y.

Recently, manganese ore port spot quotations are tending upward while semi carbonate manganese ore price held steady in South Africa due to surplus supply.

In April 2015, Customs data showed that China imported 296,057 tons ferro alloys (Tariff Number: 72021100-72029999, including ferro alloys and Si products), increasing by 2% month on month (290,521 tons) and 25.9% year on year (235,198 tons).

Customs data showed that China exported 95,195 tons ferro alloys (Tariff Number: 72021100-72029999, including ferro alloys and Si products) in April 2015, increasing by 15.2% month on month (82,596 tons) and decreasing by 16% year on year (113,394 tons).

At the end of May, the LME Nickel price further declined along with the surging stock. On May26th, LME Ni price closed at USD12, 715/mt, which decreased by USD745/mt month on month

[Ferro-Alloys.com]Chinese FeMo was offered at RMB76,000-77,000/mt by acceptance. In late month, major steel mills actively entered the market to supplement materials, but they only purchased required volumes.
