[Ferro-Alloys.com] Last week, LME Nickel quotation trend became weak. On May 19th, the closing price of LME Nickel was USD12, 950/mt, which dropped below USD13, 000/mt and the price trend would continue to be weak in short term.

FeSi export price began to slip since Q2, 2014, and maintained the previous condition by late May 2015. Nowadays FeSi 75# was quoted at around USD1,240-1,250/mt(FOB Tianjin port) as the floor level during the recent 5 years.

From mid Oct 2014, domestic FeSi market experienced a ongoing slump. In May 2015, Hebei Iron & Steel Group’s 72# bidding price further declined to RMB5,100/mt, shrinking almost RMB750/mt compared to last year.

[Ferro-Alloys.com]Chinese FeMo was offered at RMB76,000-77,000/mt by acceptance. Steel mills pressed the tender price, so high-priced materials couldn’t be transacted. The major transaction price of FeMo was RMB74,500/mt by acceptance.
