China exported 2452.35 tons of ferrosilicon (≤55%), down by 37.16% YoY.

American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) reported that the U.S. imported a total of 1,750,000 net tons (NT) of steel in March 2020.

From January to March, imports of Beijing reached 502.98 billion yuan, down 8.4 percent year-on-year, while exports increased by 4.4 percent to 122.44 billion yuan.

In the week ending on April 25, 2020, domestic raw steel production was 1,250,000 net tons while the capability utilization rate was 55.8 percent.

The 2009 ferrosilicon contract price on ZCE closed at 5744 yuan per ton on April 28.
