Silicon metal export price dropped in the second week of January in China. Consumers were worried about price increasing before Chinese Spring Festival.

According to the statistics of US International Trade Commission, America imported 15683 mt of silicon metal in November 2014, down by 7.4% M-O-M.

Shanghai Jinneng Silicon Metal Export Price [Before Jan.31st]

According to statistic National Bureau of Statistic of China, China export 70278 tons of silicon metal in November, up by 2.41% Y-O-Y, and materials were mainly shipped to S.Korea and Japan with quantities respectively at 11367 tons and 15012 tons.

In November, Brazil exported 7768.56 tons of silicon metal (Si<99.99%), falling down by 25.79% M-O-M and down by 37.8% Y-O-Y. In Jan-Nov, 2014, Brazil totally exported 120741.31 tons of silicon metal, down by 8.1% Y-O-Y.
