According to statistic of Korea Customs, S.Korea imported 12,700 tons of silicon metal in November 2014, down by 22% M-O-M and down by 15.3% Y-O-Y.

Price of Chinese low-grade silicon metal still shows a continuous fall in December, and the price meant for domestic consumption as of December 8 is down by CNY200 per ton from the end of the last month.

In October, Brazil exported 10468.75 tons of silicon metal (Si<99.99%), falling down by 31.9% M-O-M and down by 31.7% Y-O-Y. In Jan-Oct, 2014, Brazil totally exported 112972.75 tons of silicon metal, down by 4.9% Y-O-Y.
