However, the company said that the exports were impacted by logistical challenges posed by adverse weather conditions leading to congestion at ports.

In June alone, it produced 1.37 MT, up 18 per cent from 1.16 MT in the same month of 2020.

The crude steel production during the previous quarter was around 4.37 million tonnes.

The company had produced 1.67 MT of steel in same of period of financial year 2020-21, JSPL said in a statement.

The company’s newly acqui and Steel reported production of 0.69 million tonnes in Q1 of FY 22.
