[Ferro-Alloys.com] In recent period, Chinese manganese alloy market still kept flat amid slowing growth for demand. Silicon manganese 6517 is currently pricing at RMB5,650-5,800/mt in north and RMN5,900-6,000/mt forsouth, and RMB5,200-5,300/mt for 6014.

The price of low-grade silicon metal in the Chinese domestic market maintained being flat from the end of December, and there is no indication the realization sales will take place before Chinese New Year holiday (18th to 24th of February).

On January 29, Japan Aluminium Alloy Refiners Association released the result of demand & supply for silicon metal and the production result of secondary aluminium alloy products in the full year 2014 as well as in December.
