[Ferro-Alloys.com] Australian Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) said that the company’s iron ore shipments hit a record high of 13.3 million tons in June, equaling an annualised run rate of 160 million tons.

The company’s shipments of iron ore registered at 38.7 million tons in the second quarter.

Besides, the shipments for the full financial year 2014 totaled 124 million tons and the average prices were around US$106/dry ton.

The company’s revenues generated from sales of iron ore amounted to around US$11.4 billion.
