As of end June, construction progress levels of plant and power substation are 71% and 96% respectively. OM Holdings Limited reports the progress of construction of the ferroalloy plant driven in Sarawak, Malaysia as follows.
(1)Annual production capacity of ferro-silicon in the first-phase construction is 308,000 tons. (2)The progress level of construction as of the end of June is 71%. (3)The progress level of the construction of power substation is 96% and the testing finished in the period from April to June.(4)The construction of Workshop AO1 is nearing completion, and the construction of Workshops A02 and B01 is going on smoothly. (5)5 units of electric furnace vessel arrived at the plant site. (6)About 320 operational staff have been recruited, and over 50 management staff have been deployed to the site. (7)Raw Materials and other equipments are to arrive at the plant one after the other from July. For a reference, as to the first blowing-in which is scheduled to take place in the period from July to September in 2014, no concrete schedule is mentioned.
