[Ferro-Alloys.com] South Korean’s officer revealed that the country’s steel giant Posco will invest US$20 million in India to establish a new steel plant.
South Korean Ambassador Joongyu Lee said that this project is already decided and the Gujarat state government had proposed an Exclusive Industrial Zone for the company.
Lee also added that South Korea’s total investment in India is about US$3.5 million at present but not satisfied with this amount, he would expect rapid investment of South Korean companies in India in future, such as LG and Samsung.
