[Ferro-alloys.com] According to the statistics of Korea Customs, Korea’s ferroalloy import volume was 88,201 mt in October 2014, down by 4.3% M-O-M and down by 11.9% Y-O-Y. The import sources and volumes were as the followings, South Africa, 21,125 mt; China, 18,700 mt; India, 10,172 tm. The total import volume in Jan-Oct of 2014 was 917,837 mt, up by 5.2% Y-O-Y.

Korea’s ferroalloy export volume was 30,567 mt in October 2014, up by 8.4% M-O-M and up by 12.2% Y-O-Y. The total export volume in Jan-Oct of 2014 was 219,943 mt, down by 22.6% Y-O-Y.

The net import volume in October 2014 was 57,634 mt and Jan-Oct of 2014 was 697,894 mt.
