[Ferro-Alloys.com]In recent period, it seems that prices of Chinese silicon manganese 6014 still keep edging down by RMB20-30/mt from prior period, some even down by  RMB50/mt. In Hunan, transaction prices of 6014 only remained at RMB5,000/mt and RMB5,000-5,050/mt for cash quotation from suppliers. In Guizhou, prices of 6014 hold at RMB4,970-5,000/mt by cash without tax for little transaction. Meanwhile, silicon manganese 6014 was quoted at RMB4,980/mt in Guangyang of Guangxi and around RMB5,000/mt in Quanzhou of Guangxi.

Overall, given poor performance of steel market, it is estimated that silicon manganese future market would not be optimistic.
