The accumulated experience of its founders of over 50 years in mining and international trade in raw materials for iron, steel and others, were the basis for the foundation in 1987 of Industrial Minera Continental, S.A. de C.V., which later in 1995 as part of a trade group formed Industrial Minera Comercial.

IMC is specially dedicated to raw materials for the industries of iron, steel and others, maintaining a strong position with them over the years, providing high quality products at competitive prices, such as basic pig iron, foundry pig iron and sorelmetal for ductile iron, silicon carbide grained and briquettes, common and special ferro-alloys, metals, minerals and carbon products mainly.
