Major Importers of Cr Ore in China in 1H 2011

According to customs statistical data, China chrome ore import volume was 4.98 million mt in the first half of 2011, increasing 12.8% compared to the same period of last year. The average import price is $230/mt, increasing 11.4% compared to last year. The major importers of Cr ore in China in the first half of 2011 are as follows.
 
1.      China National Minerals Co. Ltd, 255,990 tons, increasing 625.1%.
2.      Shanxi Gold Stone Large Logistics Co., Ltd, 182,950 tons, increasing 310%.
3.      China Light Building Materials Import and Export Corporation, 177,683 tons,      increasing 89.4%.
4.  Sichuan Ocean Trade LLC, 161,509 tons, increasing 46.9%.
5.  Sichuan YiHui Alloy LLC, 157,426 tons, decreasing 19.9%.
6.  Jilin Ferroalloy Co., LTD, 137,851 tons, increasing 201.7%.
