BHP Billiton's Manganese Ore Production Raises in Q1

[Fellow]BHP Billiton said that company’s manganese ore production increased by 14% in the first quarter to 2.049 million tons over the same period a year ago.
BHP Billiton said that company’s manganese ore production increased by 14% in the first quarter to 2.049 million tons over the same period a year ago.
 
Compared with the same quarter of last year, nickel output decreased by 5% to 32,500 tons in the quarter ended in March.
 
In addition, BHP Billiton’s sales of manganese ore totaled 2.16 million tons and that of nickel totaled 32,900 tons, dropping by 4% year on year.
