According to Indonesia’s mining ministry, the country is planned to build 12 nickel smelting plant, which is meaning that export restrictions are in effect on the domestic ore processing.
Last month, the Indonesian Coal Mining Association announced that next two years, Indonesia will have 11 nickel smelters at a cost of $1.4 billion.
There are six new nickel smelters due to be finished in 2015.
