[Ferro-Alloys.com] Russia exported some 9.76 million tons of iron ore during the first five months, decreasing by 9.1% year on year.

The average price of iron ore exports was at US$54.5/ton, reducing by 44.7% compared to the corresponding period of last month.

In May alone, the country’s exports of iron ore registered a decrease of 53.9% to 1.32 million tons compared to the same time of last year. The export price of iron ore was averaged at US$51.4/ton, dipping by 45.4% year on year.
