[Ferro-Alloys.com] Ferronickel factories pledged to cut production together which may shore up the nickel price. Low-grade ferronickel 1.6-1.8% quoted at 1580-1600yuan/t; mid-grade ferronickel 4-6% quoted at 710-720yuan/ni; mid-grade ferronickel 6-8% quoted at 710-720yuan/ni; high-grade ferronickel 10-12% quoted at 700-710yuan/ni.

In December 11, Zhangjiagang Pohang Stainless Steel quoted its second round bidding price at 710-720yuan/nickel. In December 18, the company quoted its third round bidding price at 720yuan/nickel. Recently, ferronickel factories in Inner Mongolia have conducted cut plans gradually, which would result in less production in January, the next year.
