According to statistics showed in 2015, China's steel exports exceeded 1 billion tons for the first time. 

Among them, China’s steel pipe exports totaled 9.978 million tons, accounted 8.88% of total steel exports, an increase of 6.26% year on year, hit another record high. Those for welded pipe exports 4.7422 million tons, an increase of 16.51% year on year. 

In 2015, China's seamless steel pipe exports totaled 4.549 million tons, down by 14.4% year on year. As far as price, seamless steel pipe exports average prices were at US$1096.31/ton, down more than 10% compared to 2014.
