[www.ferro-alloys.com] China Steel Corp., the largest carbon steel makers in Taiwan, has notified its domestic customers that it will hike AP plate base price by NT$1,000/ton for July. 
At the same time, the company will lower AP plate supply quantity slightly. The import steel quantity reduce and dumping issue were the major reasons for CSC to make the decision. 
After the adjustment, CSC's new AP plate base price will be NT$16,100/ton for July. CSC's downstream customers think the new price has no big price gap compared to prime grade.
