[Fellow]Iron ore fines production totaled 64.1 Mt in 2Q19, 12.1% and 33.8% lower than 1Q19 and 2Q18, respectively.

[Ferro-Alloys.comIron ore fines production totaled 64.1 Mt in 2Q19, 12.1% and 33.8% lower than 1Q19 and 2Q18, respectively, mainly as a result of the impacts following the Brumadinho dam rupture and the unusual weather-related conditions in the Northern System in April and early May.(Vale)

Coal production totaled 2.4 Mt in 2Q19, 7.1% higher than in 1Q19 as a result of less rains in comparison to 1Q19. Despite being higher than in 1Q19, 2Q19 production was affected by the lower ROM quality which impacted the yield at the processing plant, as well as higher maintenance at those plants.(Vale)

Pilbara iron ore shipments of 85.4 million tonnes (100% basis) in the second quarter were 3% lower than the second quarter of 2018. Shipments were impacted in April due to recovery works following Tropical Cyclone Veronica.(Rio Tinto)

Metallurgical coal and energy coal production marginally below guidance predominantly as a result of lower than expected wash plant yields and adverse weather impacts during the June 2019 quarter.(BHP)
