[ferro-alloys.com]Yesterday, U.S government and Congress reached an agreement about U.S budget and upper limit of debts. The index of U.S dollar rose up. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 14225 USD/T. It was 15 USD/T lower than the price on last trading day. The trading volume was still less in future nickel market, and the price kept on dropping. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 1908 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 200-300 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 1500-1700 RMB/T.Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel price at 112300 RMB/T. It was 2200 RMB/T lower than the price yesterday.

Due to fall of LME nickel, the stainless steel market was in downturn. The prices of some products went down. The ferronickel price could not rise up at present. The ferronickel market kept steady today. The mainstream price of high grade ferronickel was 1040-1060 RMB/Nickel, and the price of low grade ferronickel was 3050-3250 RMB/T.
