[Ferro-Alloys.com] Recently, China electrolytic manganese market was flat and its European price rose up a little. The current transaction price for 99.7% electrolytic manganese flake in European market was around USD2,520-2,570/mt FOB, it had increased by USD20/mt after a long time of flat situation in Nov.

 

As we all know, since the summer holiday had finished in European countries, especially the Christmas day is coming near, most steel mills had got ready to make stock in winter. In this case, the demand of electrolytic manganese had picked up and thereby pushing the price to rise. However, the demand from downstream sectors was not strong enough to continue to fuel a continuous rise in the price. It is predicted that European electrolytic manganese price could not rise up too much in the future.
