[ferro-alloys.com]Recently, due to coronavirus, the index of U.S stock dropped down largely. People were expecting that FED would decrease interest in the future. The index of U.S dollar went down. Relatively, the price of LME nickel went up largely. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 12680 USD/T. It was 455 USD/T higher than the price on last trading day. Due to rising of LME nickel price, the price of future nickel rose up largely in domestic market. The trading volume was restricted. Today, compared with Shanghai future nickel 2004 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was from 200 to 350 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 1600-1800 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 104500 RMB/T. It was 1900 RMB/T higher than the price yesterday.

The stainless-steel market was in downturn. The ferronickel market was still in lower level. Today, the price of high-grade ferronickel was 895-925 RMB/Nickel, and the price of low-grade ferronickel was 3300-3450 RMB/T.
