[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to data of Ministry of Commerce, in the week ending on May 10, 2020, the steel products price showed a minor recovery, and the price of high speed wire rod, screw steel, hot rolled strip and channel steel was 3897 yuan, 3779 yuan, 3897yuan and 3905 yuan respectively, up by 0.6%、0.5%、0.2% and 0.1% respectively.
In early May, the social inventory of 5 varieties of steel in 20 cities was 14.98 million tons, down 1270 thousand tons (7.8%) from last ten days, and up 8160 thousand tons (119.7%) vs. the begining of 2020.
View by regions, the inventory in Southwest China and East China showed a decrease of 400 thousand tons and 320 thousand tons, and there was a decrease of 12.5% and 10.6% in Southwest China and North China.
