The China-assisted Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway project in Indonesia has been making steady progress this year. The project’s No. 3 and No.5 tunnels have been drilled through and the first multi-span rigid frame continuous beam for the No. 2 Bridge of the railway has been closed.
 
On Feb. 12, the Vado Gateway Terminal in Italy, invested, constructed and operated partly by the Qingdao Port of China, was officially put into commercial operation.

It is the world's largest combined-cycle power station project to achieve successful grid connection.
 
On April 8, the unloading of the support system to the steel frame of the Lusail Stadium in Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, contracted to CRCC, was completed.
 
Constructed by Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (CHALCO), the bauxite project in Boffa, capital of Guinea's Boffa Prefecture, was completed on April 6, about one month ahead of schedule, when a 23-km integrated heavy-duty conveyor belt of the project went fully online and became operational.
 
The concreting of the outer dome of the double-layer containment building at unit 2 of the Karachi nuclear power plant in Pakistan was completed on April 10.
 
The Ban Ladhan Mekong River Super Major Bridge along the China-Laos railway accomplished its main section closure over the Mekong River on April 1.
 
The Ban Konlouang tunnel, a key bottleneck project of the China-Laos railway, was drilled through on April 29, 43 days ahead of schedule.
