[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to the statistics of China Customs, in August 2020, China's export of ferrosilicon (>55%) was 14059.663 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 38.97% and a month on month increase of 5.536%. Among them, 4126.8 tons were exported to South Korea, accounting for 29.3521%; 2843.966 tons were exported to Indonesia, accounting for 20.2278%; and 2816.497 tons were exported to Japan, accounting for 20.0325%.

From January to August 2020, China exported 191773.639 tons of ferrosilicon (silicon content > 55%), a year-on-year decrease of 28.11%. Among them, 49822.69 tons were exported to South Korea, accounting for 25.9799%; and 43740.107 tons were exported to Japan, accounting for 22.8082%.

In August 2020, China exported 1329.76 tons of ferrosilicon (≤ 55%), a month on month increase of 8.876% and a year-on-year decrease of 39.64%. Among them, 569 tons were exported to South Korea, accounting for 42.7897%; 285.26 tons were exported to Japan, accounting for 21.4520%.

From January to August 2020, China exported 12467.685 tons of ferrosilicon (≤ 55%), down 40.6% year on year. Among them, 4873 tons were exported to South Korea, accounting for 39.0850%; 2787.91 tons were exported to Japan, accounting for 22.3611%.
