Ferro-alloys.com:The British private company Brazil Nickel raised US$27.57 million.
Of this amount, US$25 million was invested by TechMet, a financing partner of the Brazilian nickel industry and a private company.
These funds will be used to advance the advanced stage of the Piauí nickel project in Brazil.
The Brazilian Nickel Industry will use these funds to accelerate the development of the project by completing a comprehensive project feasibility study, expanding the existing demonstration plant, and providing early small-scale production of the PNP 1000 project.
In addition, Robert Jenkins will resign as a non-executive director, but will remain as an alternate director of John Croft.
