According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in 2020, China's crude steel output exceeded 1 billion tons, reaching 1.053 billion tons.
Based on average daily production, in December, 2.394 million tons of iron, 2.944 million tons of crude steel and 3.882 million tons of steel were produced. 
China’s pig iron output in December was 74.22 million tons, up 5.4% from the same period last year.
China’s crude steels crude steel output output in December was 91.25 million tons, up 7.7% from the same period last year.
China’s steel output in December was 120.34 million tons, up 12.8% from the same period last year.
