Ferro-alloys.com：Bahia Mining Corporation announced that its Pedra de Ferro mine has begun producing iron ore. Bahia Mining Company stated that the mine's iron ore production capacity is 2 million tons per year, and it is expected to produce 1 million tons of iron ore in 2021.

A Reuters media report stated that the company plans to invest 4 billion Brazilian reals ($746.5 million) in the next five years to expand iron ore production capacity.

Through investment, the company is expected to reach a production capacity of 18 million tons per year. The company produces iron ore with an iron content of 65%.
