  As a maritime carrier, I believe that in order to realize the transformation from a shipping power and a maritime power to a shipping power and a maritime power, China must constantly increase its voice in rule-making and influence in the handling of commercial disputes in the field of shipping and maritime.

 

  It is hoped that Shanghai court system can give full play to its own advantages in location, talent and source of cases, polish and form a number of typical cases in shipping and foreign trade, give full play to the publicity, demonstration and leading role of cases, and inject more "Chinese elements" into global shipping and trade dispute settlement. With the shift of global shipping industry to the East, it is hoped that the Shanghai court will play an increasingly important role in ensuring the orderly development of shipping industry and foreign trade industry by judicial means.

 

  I have two suggestions for the liaison work of deputies to the people's Congress of the people's court. First, it is hoped that the court and deputies to the National People's Congress will strengthen cooperation and work together to optimize the business environment under the rule of law. For example, we can select some special topics every year, strengthen the research on enterprises and other market entities, understand the problems existing in the development and operation of market entities, and research and promote solutions. Second, strengthen communication with deputies to the National People's Congress. Through various forms such as periodicals, networks, short messages, official account of WeChat, etc., we will inform NPC deputies about the overall work, important activities and the execution of major typical cases, so as to facilitate the NPC deputies to understand and grasp the work of the court in a timely manner and make better use of their functions.
