[Ferro-Alloys.com] Ferrovanadium prices were higher worldwide. In the US, two small sales were done at USD15.10 per lb and at USD15.50 per lb. European spot prices rose to USD32.50-33.15 per kg compared to USD31.50-32.50.

They say they have not had to test the spot market because they are operating well below normal levels.
US consumers and sellers mentioned concern about the current impasse in Congress. One US trader pointed out that the first quarter usually is the strongest of the year. “If this is the best we are going to do in 2013, we are going to be in trouble,” he said.
