【Ferro-alloys.com】:Australia-based exploration and development company Arrow Minerals has identified high-grade iron mineralization at the Simandou North Project (SNIP)and plans to conduct more than 150 drill holes in the area.

At Simandou, Arrow Minerals has initiated initial work on the high-grade iron property. Initial work at SNIP, which it acquired from Amalgamated Minerals last March for $1.3 million, has identified 63% high-grade iron mineralization from five drill holes. Testing of 392 samples from the drill holes is expected to follow. Arrow Minerals plans to utilize the existing rail infrastructure and drill more than 150 drill holes in the area.

The company is accelerating its efforts to advance rail, port, transportation logistics, iron ore marketing, metallurgical testing and mining environmental impact assessments.

Arrow Minerals CEO stated: "We are off to a very good start with our drilling program, especially since this is the start of the first systematic drilling campaign at the project and we are still trying to determine key geological parameters such as the direction of mineralization."

At the Simandou iron ore deposit in Guinea, rail and port works are expected to be completed by 2025 and exports are expected to begin.
