[Ferro-Alloys.com]According to the ferronickel prices released by the major steel mills in China in July, the purchasing price and volume was basically the same with that of June. Even though the price increased a little at middle and end of June, it was held down by the downturn stainless steel price and LME nickel price.

Specifically, Tisco settled the high ferronickel price at RMB905/Ni of 50,000-60,000tons in July, RMB5 lower than June; Baosteel and Jisco maintained it at RMB905/ Ni; and the purchasing of Posco in the latest two weeks was RMB900-910/Ni; Tisingshan Holding Group planned to purchase 50,000tons in three batches. The price of the fist round was RMB930/Ni, while it was cut down to RMB920/Ni in the second round. Then the price of the last round might adjust according to the market trend. All the prices were delivered price.

For the medium ferronickel 4-6% and 6-8%, their price rose a little due to the comparatively tense supply in the low operating rate condition. The purchasing price in July rose RMB10 to 910-930/Ni and 900-920/Ni (delivered price).
