[Ferro-Alloys.com] There is “nothing to stop” ferro-molybdenum and molybdic oxide prices from drifting even further down in the coming months, market participants told Metal Bulletin.
The in-warehouse Rotterdam quotation for ferro-molybdenum dropped to $25.20-25.60 per kg on Wednesday July 3 and is now at its lowest level since October 2009, when it was in a range of $25-27.50 per kg. “I’ve heard offers between $25 and $25.30 and I think we could see numbers starting with $24,” a trader said.
