Trial production of nickel chrome composite materials was successfully carried out in the eastern industrial park of Naiman Banner, Tongliao city of Inner Mongolia. The move made a step closer to realization of South Steel and North Aluminum Project of Tongliao City.

With the advantage of location, resources and policy, Naiman Banner is actively building Stainless Steel Ecological Industrial Park to develop the nickel chrome composite materials. According to the plan, the industrial park covers an area of 30 km2 with the total investment of 51.2 billion RMB. Centered by Heyi Nickel Chrome Composite Materials Company Ltd and focusing on the project of stainless steel smelting and recycle economy, further processing project of the downstream stainless industry chain, the park will integrate stainless steel production, deep processing and product circulation and establish a new material base with a complete steelmaking chain (smelting-hot rolled-pickling-cold rolled-finished products).

After the establishment, the part will realize 1.5 million tonnes of annual production, 1 million tonnes of processing capacity, CNY 120 billion yield venue and 20,000 employees. By then, the park will become the biggest fine stainless steel production base and the biggest professional processing and marketplace of stainless steel in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia. It will also be the industrial park of the largest scale, highest level and most complete industry chain in Northeast China.

At present, Naiman Banner has entrusted Taigang Designing Institute to initiate the planning work.
