According to National Development and Reform Commission, China ten non ferrous metals output increased 16.3% Y-o-Y and 6.3% M-o-M in October.
In this month, electrolytic aluminum production went up by 17.1%Y-o-Y and 11.5% M-o-M while copper, lead and zinc output up 28.4%, 7.9% and 9.8% Y-o-Y. Besides, alumina production also staged an increase of 24.6% Y-o-Y.
Nonferrous metals prices also appeared higher than that in the same period of last year. The average spot rate of copper CNY 49,807 per tonne up by 34.2% Y-o-Y, lead CNY 15,841 per tonne up by 14.2% Y-o-Y and zinc stood at CNY 16,043 per tonne up by 50.8% Y-o-Y respectively. But aluminum price dips 0.4% M-o-M.
In January to October the total yield of non ferrous metals reached 21.44 million tonnes up by 1.3% Y-o-Y.
