[Ferro-Alloys.com] Kangaroo Resources in September delivered another record month of production from the Mamahak Coal Mine in Indonesia, which has coking coal and high-quality thermal coal.

The 51,123 metric tonnes achieved from the project in September was a 70% increase over August. Highlighting the recent ramp-up - the entire June quarter only produced 27,008 metric tonnes.

Importantly to maintain momentum - 152,000 tonnes of coal had been stockpiled at Mamahak, with preliminary barging having commenced during September.

Around 5,200 tonnes of coal was transported to Bayan Resources’ Balikpapan Coal Terminal during the month, with full-scale barging operations expected to commence once draft river levels at the Mamahak port facility allow sustained barge traffic movement.
