[Ferro-Alloys.com]It is reported that Samsung Engineering, the first engineering firm in South Korea has received an USD2.48 billion engineering, procurement and construction contract from Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company to build its Carbon Black and Delayed Coker Project to be completed by January 2016 located in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The project is expected to transform heavy oil into light petroleum derivatives.
It is analyzed that the new coker plant will produce 40,000 tons of carbon black each year and process 30,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
