According to data, Brazil exported 3.448 million tons of iron ore in July, falling by 14.3% year on year.
Meanwhile, the country’s export prices of iron ore averaged at US$137.5/ton, down by 8.3% year on year.
In the first seven months of this year, Brazil’s iron ore exports amounted to 26.284 million tons, decreasing by 9.1% year on year. The export prices averaged at US$135.5/ton, falling by 10.6% year on year.
In the given period of time, China was the largest importer of the Brazilian iron ore with 3.416 million tons, decreasing by 20.8%; Japan was the second largest one with 2.826 million tons, falling by 4.8%; the Netherlands was the third largest one with 2.279 million tons, soaring by 90.2%, all compared to the figures in the same period of the previous year.
