It caused public attention that Wuhan Iron and Steel decided to breed pigs and start vegetable business years ago. China Iron and Steel Association disclosed recently, of the largest seven steel companies, revenue of non-steel industry had accounted for 1/5 overall revenue.
For example, Anshan Iron & Steel Group Corporation aimed to elevate revenue of non-steel industry to 50% in 2020. Baosteel had been developing six non-steel industries including finance, engineer service, deep processing, comprehensive utilization, resource development and trade. Diversified development was generally accepted nowadays. At the harsh time of steel industry, it would be wise to provide for and help oneself by avocation.
